FACILITIES ATTENDANT

The Facilities Attendant will be required to assist with the Maintenance and Upkeep of the physical infrastructure

Job Title: Facilities Attendant

Job Description: The Facilities Attendant will be required to assist with the Maintenance and Upkeep of the physical infrastructure, fittings, furniture, etc. of all business units under the remit of the of Facilities Division;

Duties:

• Day to Day delivery of repair and maintenance service, as may be assigned;
• Conduct inspections prior to and on completion of repairs, with care to report on same;
• Monitor and assist as may be needed, third party contractors in the execution of required works, as to verify the status and quality of products and services;
• Assess and determine any defects on completion of third party works, as to ensure necessary repairs are effected;
• Assist the Facilities Director and designate, in the development of quarterly and annual maintenance schedules;
• Respond to out of hour calls as necessary;
• Any other task as may be assigned by the Facilities Director or designate.

Requirements:

• Certificate in electrical, plumbing or carpentry;
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Pro Active, with ability for rapid turnover of work orders
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Must be the holder of a valid Manual Driver’s License, with a good driving record
