Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary:

Krishiv Jamaica Limited (KSV Gift and Souvenirs) is seeking a friendly and responsible Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will handle all point-of-sale transactions, ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience, and help maintain the store’s welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases and inquiries
• Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and provide accurate receipts
• Handle cash, debit/credit card transactions, and gift card sales
• Ensure accurate pricing and process discounts, promotions, and refunds as applicable
• Maintain an organized checkout area and restock necessary items (e.g., bags, promotional material)
• Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining the store’s visual merchandising standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
• Address and resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member
• Monitor and balance the cash drawer at the end of shifts

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a retail cashier role or similar is an asset
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
