Preparation of customs documentation and efficient clearing for all incoming/outgoing goods and other cargo for a large Manufacturing company.

• Preparation and effective management of customs import and export declarations
• Clearance of all finished goods, raw materials, marketing material and any other physical cargo, at all ports of entry for both import and export shipments namely Port of Spain, Point Lisas, Piarco and including Warehousing for the company

It entails daily interaction with various external agencies such as:

• Customs & Excise Division,
• Ministry of Trade & Industry,
• Trinidad & Tobago Bureau of Standards,
• Ministry of Agriculture – Plant Quarantine Division,
• Ministry of Health – Food & Drugs Division and the
• Public Health Inspectorate in order to have a timely clearance of goods and ensure the delivery out of the care of the customs to company  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Grade 1 Certification
• 2 years experience in Customs
• Computer Literate
• Knowledge in customs procedures
• A minimum of five (5) CXC / CSEC passes / Certificate / Diploma
• A Valid Driver's Permit and able to drive a manual vehicle 
• Ability to work independently and must possess a positive/team-oriented attitude
