UTILITIES TECHNICIAN

The Utilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining machines to which he is assigned in an efficient and effective manner so as to ensure that quality products are produced at the highest levels of machine maintainability and efficiency.

UTILITIES TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
Maintain machines to which he is assigned in an efficient and effective manner so as to ensure that quality products are produced at the highest levels of machine maintainability and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains production machines in an efficient manner
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance tasks (electrical and mechanical)
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principle and practices and applying this knowledge to diagnose (troubleshoot) problems and to solve these problems as they occur during operation
• Ensuring that quality standards are met to the products out of the assigned machine
• Adhering to all standard operating procedures; good manufacturing practices and safety guidelines
• Lending support to maintenance personnel and ensuring proper communication methods are in place

Candidate Profile

• A technicians diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology with specific experience in Utilities.
• The ability to perform skilled technical work to maintain, repair, modify, and install machinery equipment
•  Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of levels
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced, dynamic environment 
• Excellent organizational and coordinating skills
• Any satisfactory combination of experience and qualifications
• MUST BE A CITIZEN OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO presently domicile in Trinidad and Tobago.
