Auto-Electrician

The Auto-Electrician will be responsible for performing regular servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairing a fleet heavy duty Trucks, SUVs, Forklifts, Electric Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Trucks, as well as installing and maintaining electrical systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct periodic inspections, servicing and repairs to electrical systems and components.
• To keep abreast of industry and recommend any new technology.
• Engage in the troubleshooting of equipment problems and carry out repairs as needed.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Complete and submit paperwork per company policies and safety standards.
• Make recommendations for replacement/modification of parts.
• Rewire, and repair electrical systems.
• Any other related duties assigned.

Education/Training & Experience

• JAGAS Certification/Auto electrical certification
• 3-5 years’ experience in Auto electrical repairs
• Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques

• Ability to diagnose electrical malfunctions within automotive systems.
• Ability to install electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Must be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
