 Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaise with all distributors to restock the Convenience Store as instructed.
  • Assist with ordering of fuel based on daily sales.
  • Monitor social events and assist with scheduling deliveries to accommodate increase sales volumes. 
  • Assist with updating and communicating the Wet Stock Report to the Rubis team before the stipulated deadline. 
  • Update all assigned spreadsheets with data daily as instructed. 
  • Count, verify and deposit cash when required.
  • Compile weekly, bi-weekly and monthly statements for charge customers when required.
  • Assist with completing the roster weekly and communicating to staff. 
  • Reconcile all forecourt and C-store sheets.
  • Enter stock into the accounting software. 
  • Enter charge invoices into the accounting software.
  • Enter vendor invoices into the accounting software.
  • Manage, distribute, and record petty cash transactions and replenishments when required.
  • Track and carry out payments to Deli suppliers.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of payroll as assigned. 
  • Assist with managing the Forecourt and C-store operations.
  • Report and organize the fixing of any issues related to the Forecourt and C-store in a timely manner. 
  • Effectively communicate information to the staff as directed by Senior Management.
  • Listen to staff queries, issues and concerns and resolve where possible or escalate to senior management when necessary.
  • Be proficient with all software programs used at the Service station, e.g. – Sapphire, VeederRoot, Accdev, Sage etc.
  • Available to handle any issues within and beyond operational hours.
  • Assist with the implementation of structures, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall functionality of the organization.
  • Order stationery and supplies for in-house use as necessary.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned by Senior Management to aid in the smooth running of the business.


 Education and Required Skills

  • A minimum of two (2) years experience within a similar role 
  • Associate Degree or Certificate in Business Administration
  • A minimum of 5 CXC’s including Mathematics and English Language
  • Ability to take initiative and work efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively 

 
 Desirable Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or in a self-managed environment as projects/tasks require
