The Account Executive at Blinds Designs Limited will report to the Business Development Manager to ensure all customer accounts are properly managed as well as assist with the execution of strategies developed by the Business Development Manager.
As an Account Executive you will report to the Business Development Manager and your responsibilities will primarily involve but will not be limited to:
Providing assistance to the Business Development Manager
Attendance of meetings to discuss the following with Business Development Manager:
Strategies
Targets
Approximate income figures
Locations and Appointments
New Business to approach
Liaise with sales representatives to ensure all daily measurements are accurate and complete with all of the required information
Account Executive will be required to assist with appointments as needed
Meeting with clients to discuss and finalize estimates to ensure all requirements are met
All invoices must be completely settled (paid in full) to count towards target monthly
All mistakes / additional cost are deducted from target amount
Account Executive iis responsible for follow ups / finalizing each job with the following:
Following up with clients to ensure that all estimates are received within 24 hours of being sent and noting it in Evernote
Updating the pipeline each day with new entries
Liaising with clients to confirm selections of fabrics and areas to be manufactured to finalize estimates
Assisting walk in clients when needed
Monitoring the Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram messages and the companies email to reply within a timely manner
Creating the daily schedule for the Sales representatives of the Business Development Manager is out of office
Quality assurance / follow ups
Identify potential and new clients by promoting products
Develop and foster client and networking relationships in order to retain current clients and attract new clients and assist in developing sales strategies and tactics
All job sheets are to be completed each day to begin production
All discounts have to be approved by the Business Development Manager
Participate actively in the company’s public relations, sales and marketing initiatives in order to help meet revenue and profitability targets
Collection of all methods of payment which is to be recorded accurately and safely stored
All methods of payments collected are your responsibility – if misplaced arrangement for repayment will have to be discussed with upper management
Account Executive will be required to learn the technicalities and functions or each product, including but not limited to materials and accurate measurements
Sales Targets are reviewed every quarter (March, June, September and December) and are subject to change
Employee evaluations are done in December of each year and may be done as needed based on performance
Prepare estimates for customers using Quickbooks
