GENERAL PURPOSE
Implement the plans defined for the Training and Benefits program. Plan, organize, execute, and control the training programs, recreational activities, and motivation for all employees.
OBJECTIVES
- Promote corporate values.
- Develop a needs assessment plan for the following year.
- Execute the annual Internal and External Training program.
- Announce all benefit plans at the country level (as applicable).
- Plan, manage, and coordinate training at the JM work center.
- Propose, manage, and coordinate benefits and motivation programs for employees.
- Follow up on all recreation and integration activities at the JM level.
- Meet the annual Training objectives.
- Deliver various training sessions according to organizational needs.
- Ensure the correct execution of the Onboarding program at all centers.
- Prepare a monthly training report.
- Organize various activities that promote and ensure a good work environment.
- Manage internal communication and ensure it is accessible to all employees.
- Manage corporate activities, from contacting suppliers, purchase requests to setting up and executing the activity.
- Manage and represent participation in Great Place To Work.
- Create, update, and standardize the People Department's graphic image and physical structure based on Catalonia Hotels & Resort guidelines.
- Manage social platforms (Instagram People JM).
- Perform other related duties from time to time as assigne by the Management Team.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years in similar positions.
- Computer literate with familiarity with computer applications and software, i.e., Windows/Excel/Access/Outlook.
- Minimum two years’ work experience in a leadership position.
- Minimum two years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in adult learning theories and instructional methodologies.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology. Education, Human Resource Management, or similar certification. A degree in hospitality and tourism management or any other related field will also be considered.
Salary Range JMD$3,000,000.00 - $3,500,000.00 gross per annum
