Third-Party Reconciliation Assistant
Reconcile all third-party payments files and ensure that corrective actions are taken, and anomalies adjusted.
Location: Kingston
As a Third-Party Reconciliation Assistant, you will:
- Reconcile all third-party files and ensure that data is submitted to the Corporate Accounting team.
- Reconcile Jamaica National Bank payments with the electronic payment sheet and process voids received via e-mail daily.
- Check daily updates notifications to ensure that all files are received.
- Compare frequent update files received with system updates and identify any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit third party reports within the stipulated timeframes.
- Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of six (6) CSEC general proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
- Successful completion of LOMA (parts 1 and 2) or other industry related designation.
- At least two (2) years working experience including one (1) year in an operations division of a life insurance company.
- Sound human relations and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in the use of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
