Technical Service Manager

Our entry into the air condition business began 18 years ago supplying affordable split type air conditioners to the Jamaican market to satisfy increase demand from residential and commercial real estate development projects. This decision was timely taking into consideration increasing global warming and its effect on how air conditioners will play a greater role in providing comfort. 

Aleabra , formerly Leading Brands Jamaica Ltd was formed in 2003 representing Klimaire Products Inc, and Hitachi Air Condition and now Hisense with hundreds of solutions sold to well-known corporate and medium sized enterprises, government, hospitality and residential development projects. 

Technical Service Manager 

 

Job Summary: The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the HVAC service department to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, scheduling installation and service jobs,  ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and driving the financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service department.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC technicians and support staff.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
    • Manage technician schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely service delivery.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and addressing customer concerns promptly.
    • Implement and monitor service procedures and policies.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of service work.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
    • Oversee the management of tools, equipment, and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and Electrical systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • This role may require on-call availability and occasional weekend work.
