The job holder will provide technical and administrative support in the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Training and Development system.
Responsibilities:
Conducts needs assessments to identify learning needs at the individual, departmental and organizational levels · Guides Supervisors and Managers in effectively identifying and addressing employee development needs. · Reviews training needs to create the Annual Training Plan and Training Calendar/Schedule. · Conducts research, designs, facilitates and or lends support in developing and delivering relevant in-house training and development initiatives. · Organizes/Co-ordinates internal and external training meetings and interventions. · Designs/prepares and disseminates communication materials related to the implementation of talent development initiatives. · Establishes /Maintains/ Updates training records/systems and library of training materials. · Manages relationships with external training consultants to ensure the delivery of appropriate training programs · Reviews training proposals and associated costs to ensure appropriate return on training investment. Provide support to managers and supervisors in the calculation of the ROI and submit as per agreed time frames. · Monitors, analyzes and prepares reports on talent development expenses and other activities. · Conducts research and make recommendations to implement and or amend existing talent development systems and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources Organizational Development, or related field
Certification in Industrial Relations best will be an asset
A minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in design, delivery, facilitation and coordination of training
initiatives and also Performance Management systems.
Knowledge and experience in evaluation and reporting on training initiatives
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and other relevant HR systems
Comprehensive knowledge of modern HRM approaches and techniques
Working knowledge of Labour Laws will be an asset
