We are looking for a dynamic E-Commerce Coordinator to drive the growth and success of our online marketplace.

E-Commerce Coordinator 

This role is a hybrid of business development, operations, and product management, requiring someone who can attract new sellers, manage daily operations, optimize user experience, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, and can collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance marketplace performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Seller Acquisition

  • Ensure all ASSL and associated company online stores have the right product assortment, competitive pricing, accurate descriptions, and up-to-date inventory to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new sellers to the marketplace, ensuring a diverse and high-quality product range.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow seller participation, increase product offerings, and drive marketplace expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing sellers, providing support and strategies to boost their sales.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sellers, competitor strategies, and emerging e-commerce trends.
  • Develop and present value propositions to potential sellers, demonstrating the benefits of joining the platform.

2. Marketplace Management & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day marketplace operations, ensuring smooth transactions, order fulfillment, and seller support.
  • Work closely with customer service, logistics, and finance teams to optimize order processing and resolve any operational issues.
  • Monitor key marketplace metrics (new orders, revenue, conversion rates) and implement strategies to drive growth and performance.
  • Ensure proper enforcement of marketplace policies, pricing guidelines, and seller compliance.
  • Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency, reduce friction for sellers, and enhance the buying experience.
  • Provide reports on key metrics to improve performance.

3. UX, Product Development & Platform Enhancements

  • Collaborate with designers and developers to improve platform usability, design, and functionality based on seller and buyer feedback.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the user experience (UX), customer journey, and seller dashboard.
  • Recommend and assist in implementing new features to enhance seller engagement, customer satisfaction, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends and suggest innovative marketplace improvements.

4. Revenue & Performance Targets

  • End to end ownership of the profit & loss component including revenue, profit and expenses.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue, order growth, and seller acquisition targets.
  • Develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to increase sales, seller engagement, and customer retention.
  • Analyze sales data, traffic reports, and customer behavior to optimize conversion rates and revenue generation.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, email campaigns, and SEO strategies.

5. Other

  • Observe and enforce all standard operating practices, procedures and policies of among supervised staff
  • Observe all rules, company policies, health regulations and laws as they pertain to your department
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art tools, techniques, and computing equipment improvements; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and in all situations.
  • Accept and undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

 

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, business development, online marketplace operations, supply chain or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online shopping trends.
  • Proven ability to acquire and onboard sellers, build business relationships, and negotiate partnerships.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, customer service, product development).
  • Analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics, e-commerce dashboards, and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities, develop strategies, and drive marketplace growth.
  • Knowledge of UX best practices and ability to provide recommendations for improving platform usability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for seller engagement and internal collaboration.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
