Talent Acquisition Supervisor

Purpose:

Our Talent Acquisition Supervisor is a team player and collaborator who actively contributes to the evolution of the Talent Acquisition department. The incumbent provides ongoing leadership, support, advocacy, and supervision to the recruiting staff. This involves ensuring recruiting team members acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to implement best practices and fill vacancies on time, collaborating with Hiring Managers to manage the requisition workload for the team, participating in the candidate selection process, making recommendations to upper management on candidate suitability, and coordinating all hiring-related activities.
The Talent Acquisition Supervisor proactively identifies areas of opportunity within the department and assists in the design and execution of effective strategies to satisfy Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create a high-performance recruiting team through talent selection and assessment, succession planning, timely coaching and feedback, and developmental assignments.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy.
  • Promote positive teamwork and communication within the department and with external and internal clients.
  • Define team performance goals and drive team to achieve success.
  • Support the recruiting team with hiring for high-volume recruitment.
  • Lead full life cycle searches, delivering highly qualified and diverse talent, improving compliance, and facilitating a premium hiring experience for all.
  • Plan and execute job fairs as required.
  • Lead recruiting administration and compliance activities including employment records (contracts, required documents), background screening, relocation assistance, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Recommend best practices and improvements to current recruiting processes to ensure streamlined operations and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create and update recruitment-related documents such as forms, guidelines, and processes.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to identify/design pre-employment test materials for candidate selection.
  • Design and post advertisements across various recruitment channels, both internal and external.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant organizations/agencies to promote employment opportunities and widen the sourcing pool.
  • Maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates with the goal of converting them into high-potential candidates for suitable open roles.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand recurring talent needs and collaborate to build effective sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and hire top talent.
  • Track and analyze recruiting data and insights to advise decisions, measure performance, and report results to leadership.
  • Manage an effective Employee Referral Program for hiring top talent across all levels.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated matters relating to recruiting.
  • Manage the procurement and invoicing of recruitment expenses.
  • Support recruiting-related activities as required.

Education and Experience:
  • BS/BA Degree required, preferably in business, human resources, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of recruiting experience, preferably in full lifecycle recruiting within the Business Process Outsourcing industry.
  • Minimum of (3-4) years of leadership, supervisory, or project management experience.

  • Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze datasets, communicate trends, and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Strong proficiency with recruiting best practices and employment laws impacting the recruiting function.
  • Proven ability to source, screen, recruit, and recommend strong talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience, tact, and respect.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to handle changing priorities in a performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and demonstrate discretion and professionalism with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish, manage, and leverage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Understanding of competitive behavior and market trends.
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and manage candidate expectations.
  • Problem-solving ability to think critically and act accordingly.
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment and handle pressure.
