Provide support to the Fuel Operations Supervisor by furnishing general supervision of loading of Road Tanker Wagons with main fuels for the distribution to customers.

Job Summary

Provide support to the Fuel Operations Supervisor by furnishing general supervision of loading of Road Tanker Wagons with main fuels for the distribution to customers.

 Key deliverables will include but not limited to:

  • Creating trips/orders in FuelFacs for dispatching as per invoice
  • Updating FuelFacs database/records re drivers, carriers, trucks, trailers, customer etc. accordingly.
  • Loading/dispatching orders as per invoice
  • Performing daily reconciliation reports of products loaded as per tanker per invoice and meter readings.
  • Issuing and keeping accurate records of driver cards
  • Loading and confirming trips in ERP System
  • Ensuring all loading documentations are completed per order/invoice.
  • Ensuring daily and monthly checks on trucks as per safety check list
  • Randomly check the T-barring of trucks by loader sealers
  • Ensuring product valves are ready for each day loading activities.
  • Loading and delivering confirmed product as per invoice daily
  • Daily testing of the ethanol content in the gasoline
  • Taking samples from truck as requested
  • Ensuring documentation completed for product returns to storage.
  • Providing troubleshooting support for FuelFacs loading issues
  • Ensuring established loading rack procedures are being followed.

 Skills & Attributes

  • Knowledge of Company procedures, authorizations, and controls
  • Knowledge of the Company’s products and basic technical issues
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Effective telephone communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to respond consistently to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressurized situations.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary.
  • Proactive, creative and totally customer oriented

 Qualification, Experience & Skills

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or similar professional qualification.
  • At least two years’ experience working in a similar environment and capacity.
