Facilities Attendant

The position requires someone physically fit, detail-oriented, and reliable, with basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, able to follow instructions, and handle unexpected situations with sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.

• Clean offices, lounges, lobbies, bathrooms, and hallways
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Vacuum and wash carpets and rugs
• Empty wastepaper/garbage bins
• Transport trash to waste disposal equipment
• Dust and polish wooden office furniture
• Replenish restroom supplies
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements
• Any other duties that may be required from time to time

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Working knowledge of operating domestic cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, and bend
• Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
• Adequate problem solving skills
• Able to mainting high degree of confidentiality 

• Ability to do heavy physical work
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to use sound judgment and maturity when dealing with unexpected issues
• Basic computer knowledge
