TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST (in office - Kingston)
Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated, energetic and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist - to work with us in the Recruitment/Staffing & Consulting domain. The ideal candidate should be a dynamic self-starter, with a passion for recruitment and will assist with growing our staffing needs.
This individual must be able to identify the ideal candidates and close the vacant positions. They must also have an excellent professional network of candidates to generate results. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full recruitment cycle at all levels.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Administration, or other related career specific qualifications.
At least 3 years experience in full cycle recruitment.
Experience using industry-leading recruiting tools e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and social media platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Job Boards.
Knowledge of the Data Privacy Act
Responsibilities and Duties:
Leverages experience to source and screen top talent using industry-leading, recruiting tools, ATS, and social media platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and Job Boards
Build relationships with contracting managers to develop a deep understanding of role requirements, desired profiles of candidates and the business, and assists in profiling and being the main point of contact regarding labour market issues and context for candidate search
Builds relationships with top candidates and establishes a pipeline of qualified resources
Conduct personal interviews in-person or using other appropriate methods to qualify candidates.
Coordinate interviews with all stakeholders and follow-up debriefing
Candidate documentation
Conduct reference checks and background check
Engage with the support team which handles onboarding
Maintains timely, compliant, and accurate documentation and metrics requirements on all activity related to prospects, clients, and candidates
Skills Required:
Specific Knowledge
Recruitment platform management, HRIS
Use ATS, CRM, MS Office and Google products with proficiency
Knowledge of legal aspects related to contracting and labour law
Knowledge of interview methodologies and candidate testing
