Job Summary:

The Store/Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store/office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment. This role involves managing staff, handling customer inquiries, maintaining inventory, managing budgets, and implementing policies to improve customer service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and leadership skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:
    • Supervise, train, and motivate store/office staff to meet company standards.
    • Develop work schedules, monitor attendance, and handle performance reviews.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on operational tasks.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:
    • Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
    • Conduct regular stock audits and manage product ordering and returns.
    • Ensure that the store/office is well-organized, clean, and properly merchandised.
  • Financial & Administrative Duties:
    • Monitor and manage the budget, including payroll, supplies, and other expenses.
    • Interview and recruit suitable and qualified individuals for employment.
    • Process sales, refunds, and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Handle office supplies, equipment, and manage purchase orders.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure the store/office complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for both staff and customers.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance.
    • Communicate store/office goals and strategies to the team to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a store manager, office manager, or similar managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of basic financial principles and experience managing budgets.
  • Proficiency with office management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Point of Sale (POS) systems, inventory management tools).
  • Knowledge of or Training in Agricultural Field, preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service environments.
