Store Assistant - The Naughty Grape

This role will be responsible for providing general assistance at The Naughty Grape as required, ensuring all activities are completed in a courteous and efficient manner.

We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position at The Naughty Grape Retail Store 

STORE ASSISTANT

This role will be required to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers / guests at the Store, assisting the Store Supervisor with administrative duties to ensure a smooth store operation. 

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Maintain a clean environment in the store on a daily basis including sweeping, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning and removal of garbage from the building
• Merchandise shelves, including dusting of shelves & product as required, to maintain adequate stock levels on store shelves
• Assist with the offloading of stock during transfers from the main warehouse, ensuring product is appropriately stored in the required locations
• Assist customers by carrying purchased goods to their vehicles
• Maintain an adequate inventory of stock of cleaning materials and items to be utilized in the kitchen, and inform the Retail Services Supervisor with respect to the replenishment of supplies as needed
• Assist with the activities related to promotions and special events, ensuring that all wares are cleaned and packed away after use
• Organize and manage the inventory of cutlery and crockery including periodic stock checks
• Provide and serve refreshments to senior staff and visitors to the Store on request

 Knowledge & Experience:

• A minimum of three (3) CXC passes, which must include English and Mathematics
• Prior experience would be an asset
