JOB SUMMARY

The Dispatcher will direct the inventory flow across all five retail outlets, ensuring the efficient and accurate distribution of stock to meet operational demands. This role requires strong computer literacy and analytical skills to monitor inventory levels, track consumption trends, and coordinate dispatch operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate products are available at each outlet.
• Track and document the movement of stock to and from outlets, maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
• Analyse outlet data on consumer patterns to determine the required quantities of stock for each outlet.
• Coordinate the timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of stock items.
• Promptly address any discrepancies or shortages.
• Prepare detailed reports on stock distribution, inventory levels and consumption trends.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and outlet managers to align inventory requirements with operational needs.
• Maintain an organised and systematic approach to tracking products.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s Degree and/or completion of CAPE Unit 2.
• Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy is essential including data analysis skills.
• Any suitable combination of education and experience.
