Spray Operations Supervisor

The Spray Operations Supervisor is in charge of planning and executing pesticide applications in a safe and effective manner. The incumbent will be expected to operate complex equipment as well as manage various aspects of the application process.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for operation of the Mist Blower.
• Support the Farm Manager with spraying operations (Fan sprayer, Boom Sprayer and Knap sack).
• Responsible for the Drone Spraying Operations.  
• Responsible for transport of operators.
• Oversee compliance of the fan sprayer operation according to the recommendations and instructions given.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain the necessities to achieve 100% efficiency of the spraying activities.
• Responsible for providing daily reports of the spraying activities to the Farm Manager.
• Accurately compile payroll information for submission to Farm Manager. 
• Any other related duties assigned. 

Education/Training & Experience

• Associate of Science Degree in General Agriculture
• At least (2) years’ work experience in a related field
• Sound knowledge of farm operations and agricultural processes
• Certification in Project Management/ Supervisory Management would be an asset
• Experience in Drone Operation would be an asset
