Position: Sonographer

Location: Private Hospital, Westmoreland and Urgent Care Centre, Trelawney - Jamaica.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. We are committed to providing high-quality medical care and are looking for a professional who shares our passion for patient care and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, abdominal, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Provide detailed and accurate reports of diagnostic findings.
- Keep patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited institution.
- Current certification with the relevant licensing body in Jamaica.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in performing ultrasound imaging.
- Expertise in various sonography modalities, including obstetric, abdominal, and vascular.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
