Solar Engineer Duties
- Develop and design solar energy systems
- Install, maintain and repair solar energy systems
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to determine solar system application and design requirements
- Test and analyze solar energy systems for performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Analyze solar energy system performance data
- Create models and simulations for solar energy systems
- Conduct research and development for solar energy systems
- Provide system design and maintenance technical advice on solar energy
- Testing and troubleshooting solar equipment
Solar Engineer Skills
- Designing and installing solar power systems
- Provide technical advice on solar energy system design and maintenance
- Installing solar modules and mounting systems
Solar Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and associated components
- Ability to design and develop solar energy systems
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
