Senior Technician

SENIOR TECHNICIAN/TECHNICIAN

Scope:

We are a medium-sized 24-hour manufacturing operation located in the Kingston Industrial  Area.

We are looking for an individual with the capacity to grow and lead a team; a problem-solver who likes a challenge and is results-oriented. Applicant should be a self-starter who is able to plan production and maintenance activities, supervise the production staff and maintain quality requirements.

  Qualifications:

1. Degree or Diploma from UTECH or Caribbean Maritime in Electrical or Mechanical  Engineering
or
Diploma from HEART NSTA in Plant Maintenance or Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Mechanics

2. Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems and work on own initiative.

3. Be able to organize work and supervise others.

4. Must be prepared to work on a shift basis

5. A minimum of 2 years’ experience required
