SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (Hybrid/Kingston)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Innovate and create by designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications that push the boundaries of technology.
  • Bring user-facing elements to life with seamless server-side logic.
  • Guide the development of APIs with comprehensive documentation, setting the standard for excellence.
  • Implement top-notch security practices to ensure secure communications across all applications.
  • Tune applications for peak performance and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience even as we grow.
  • Utilize cloud services to deploy and maintain applications, leveraging the power of Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development and deployment processes.
  • Perform code reviews, provide mentorship, and foster the growth of junior developers.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing software to keep our applications at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead the planning and management of the development lifecycle from concepts to delivery.
  • Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
  • Embrace our organizational culture by actively participating in company Initiatives.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in front-end development using modern frameworks and libraries.
  • Extensive experience with backend development using PHP frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of web server configuration and management.
  • Expertise in database management.
  • Solid experience with implementing secure applications and top-notch security practices.
  • Proven experience in API development with comprehensive documentation.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems.
  • Experience with containerization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, including both Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, for deploying and managing applications.
  • Experience in planning and managing the software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Strong UI/UX skills.
  • Ability to create system documentations and designs.
