TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST (Hybrid/Kingston)

JOB SUMMARY:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements.
  • Develop detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including process maps, user stories, use cases, and data flow diagrams.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams to define and refine requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Perform hands-on development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify and document defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and technical development.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Embrace our organizational culture by actively participating in company initiatives

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, or CCBA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on providing services across diverse industries.
  • Proven track record of gathering and documenting technical requirements and specifications in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex scenarios and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels of organizations.
  • Proven experience in software development and technical solution design.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems and integration technologies relevant to different sectors.
  • Experience with digital transformation projects and initiatives across various industries.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools.
  • Technical proficiency in software development, including coding, debugging, and testing.
