Senior Associates- General Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations (accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger).
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial data for trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with teams on financial reporting.
• Lead and train the accounting team.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Evaluate and implement accounting software and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CPA, or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in accounting with 3 years managing a General Accounting/Accountant portfolio 
• Experience in revenue and lease accounting is essential
• Experience in the IT and Cybersecurity industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel Skills
• Hands-on experience with compliance software is ideal
• Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago
• Available to work full-time Monday through Friday
