The Semi Senior will be responsible for assisting senior auditors in planning, executing, and completing audits in various departments and areas of the organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Document process flows for operational audits, identifying breakdowns weaknesses in the system.
Participate in preliminary surveys to understand the client's business processes, risks, and internal controls.
Assist in developing audit plans and strategies based on risk assessments.
Execute audit tests of controls and substantive testing procedures.
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated efforts, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Assist in drafting audit findings and recommendations for review by senior auditors.
Verify corrective actions taken by management to address identified issues.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance audit skills and knowledge.
Prepare work papers documenting audit procedures performed, tests conducted, and results obtained.
Participate in follow-up reviews to ensure that audit recommendations have been implemented and are effective.
Stay updated with the latest auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with audit team members and other departments to ensure a smooth audit process.
Communicate audit findings, concerns, and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
Update trackers on a quarterly basis for companies within the group.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accounting Business or Finance.
Partly or fully ACCA/CIA qualified.
At least 1 – 2 years of experience Auditing

Good interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
Knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
