Security Supervisor

It is the responsibility of the Security Supervisor to plan, coordinate, train, and maintain regulatory compliance while ensuring the effective management of staff and material resources to ensure a safe and secure environment according to Blue Diamond Resorts guidelines.

Description of Responsibilities.

• Supervises and ensures the day-to-day operation of the Security department.
• Plans the departmental briefing and supervises its execution.
• Develops comprehensive security policies and procedures focused on guests, employees, suppliers and infrastructure, in accordance with current regulations.
• Ensures the training of all employees in its department in the application of preventive and protection measures established by the company.
• Performs risk analysis of vulnerable areas.
• Plans the department's annual operating logistics, including regular season, high season, and special events.
• Coordinates the execution of emergency drills based on the department's annual plan.
• Designs and implements the Internal Civil Protection Program, in conjunction with the Prevention Management Program.
• Conducts inspection tours of the areas to ensure compliance with security protocols, contingency response and medical service and identify areas of opportunity.
• It ensures that the different areas involved in emergency care are kept informed of the situation and fulfill their responsibilities.
• Maintains close communication with the Prevention Management, reporting relevant aspects and / or special cases for analysis and decision making during daily operation.
• Attends all the training courses and workshops to which he/she is summoned, applying all the knowledge and techniques acquired in his daily work.
• Conduct job interviews with new candidates.
• Applies progressive discipline with the collaborators in his charge.
• Conducts performance evaluations and gives feedback to staff.
• Coordinates the monthly inspection of fire extinguishers, hydrants and systems.
