It is the responsibility of the position to play a critical role in protecting the organization and its assets, ensuring that a safe environment is maintained for staff, guests, and their assets and that all safety regulations and regulations are complied with.

  • Designs and develops the annual strategic plan, in agreement with the Vice Presidency of Hotel Operations.
  • Executes the authorized budgets for your area attached to the established criteria.
  • Develops and implements hotel security protocols.
  • Develops and ensures compliance with Civil Protection plans.
  • Develops policies, procedures and parameters for the Security System.
  • Analyzes indicators and develops Integral Security strategies.
  • Monitors the timely follow-up of incidents that have occurred or reported, in conjunction with the areas involved.
  • Directs the implementation of industrial, environmental, electronic and patrimonial security programs guaranteeing compliance with regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with current regulations and health and safety measures within the facilities of the property.
  • Develops guidelines for Civil Security, Patrimonial and Safety and Hygiene to guarantee the protection of movable and immovable property, and people under their responsibility.
  • Analyzes and develops Safety indicators (Loss, accidents and fires.)
  • Ensures compliance with information requested for tour operator audits.
  • Ensures quality and excellence in Electronic Security.
  • Prepares the reports and reports of results of the operation in charge.
  • Implements the actions of the environmental management system in its scope of operational responsibility.
  • Develops and updates emergency protocols according to the organization's color code.
  • Assumes compliance with security objectives during special events.
  • Coordinates the Self-Management Program of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
  • Ensures compliance with training, development and management plans for employees in security matters, in coordination with the People & Culture department.
  • Performs all tasks in accordance with the operating, Safety and Hygiene and environmental and energy care procedures.
  • Attends all operations briefings, courses and training workshops to which he is summoned.
  • Provides support in the different operations of the department and the hotel when conferred by the General Manager or the Vice Presidency of Operation.
  • Closes investigations of lost belongings in rooms.
  • Develops contingency and emergency plans for all areas of the Hotel.
  • Ensures the attention of contingencies and emergencies immediately and in accordance with the procedures.
  • Protects/Safeguards the tangible and intangible assets of the organization.
  • Reduces unsafe incidents, and minimize risks.
  • Achieves compliance with the regulations and the safety and hygiene measures of the organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Physical Security and Security Management skills
  • Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Network Security expertise
  • Experience in security risk assessment and crisis management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Certifications in security management or related fields are a plus
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
