The primary responsibility is to directly manage Top Up, Open Market, Accessories and New Product sales and all business activities with assigned vendors in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, to achieve the business objectives. T
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver budgeted sales & margins as per the approved sales plan or annual revenue target
- Make the agreed number of daily sales calls (in person & on the phone) to existing and potential customers.
- Identify new business opportunities within your specific area and take responsibility for personally closing those opportunities out.
- Work closely with Marketing to keep abreast of new products & services available for selling.
- Review and implement in conjunction with the Country Manager the most effective methods of approaching new customers.
- Engage in upselling/cross selling other company products when appropriate.
- Troubleshoot complex customer issues
- Provide on-site training to customers
- Receive customer payments and return for deposit.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
- Excellent Time Management and Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to employ sales techniques such as cross selling, upselling and cold calling.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to work with minimal direction
- Must possess excellent organizational skills needed for handling multiple priorities
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be adept in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word,
- Willingness to work flexible hours and follow tight deadlines
The position requires that you have a valid driving license with at least three (3) years experience as a driver with a safe record and good knowledge of the country map, routes etc as the role operates outside of the office.
