Sales Manager

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent product availability across all retail and wholesale channels.
• Monitor stock levels and work with purchasing/warehouse teams to prevent shortages.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and grow market share.
• Set and monitor sales targets and performance KPIs for the team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and partners.
• Conduct regular business reviews with major accounts to drive performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and evaluate promotional campaigns.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team for improved performance and engagement.
• Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and promotions to secure favorable outcomes.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in FMCG, retail, or distribution.
• Strong record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of inventory management and sales analytics.
• Proficient in CRM tools and reporting software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
