The New Product Development, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, and Control Officer is responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality confectionery products by implementing quality control measures, monitoring production processes, and optimizing planning and scheduling

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing the creation and launch of innovative candy products. This role involves market research, customer engagement and sales strategy implementation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and expand business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key clients.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products to drive innovation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new product launches.
  • Oversee product testing, packaging, and branding strategies.
  • Coordinate product launches, including marketing plans, distribution strategies, and sales training.
  • Gather customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve products.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Use data analytics to identify potential growth areas and optimize sales strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between sales objectives and new product initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and new product development, preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market research, and consumer behavior.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
