Office Gems is facilitating the recruitment of a dynamic and results-driven SALES MANAGER for one of our clients.   The Sales Manager will lead a sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

 

The Sales Manager will report to the General Manager.

 

This is a full-time, in-person position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
    • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
  2. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor Sales Representatives.
    • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
    • Handle high-level customer inquiries and promptly resolve issues.
  4. Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and trends.
    • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
    • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.

 

The Sales Manager will also be required to perform other related duties as assigned to support the effective operation of the Sales Department and the Organization.

  

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree will be an asset).
  • At minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
