The Sales Manager will plan, direct, and manage all sales operations as required by Management including management and control of cash and credit sales and promotional activities for all Presell and Route Sales
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in sales management
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of sales processes and techniques
Proficiency in sales CRM software

MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Prepares sales budget, ensures that approved budgeted sales targets are achieved.
Provides up to date information to all Presellers and Route Salesmen on a daily basis of sales performance for their respected areas.
Maintains, reviews and updates Route sheets on a quarterly basis to ensure that non-operational customers are deleted and new customers added.
Submits sales performance monthly reports on a timely basis
Conducts field audits and maintains close relationships with designated customers to ensure that objectives are achieved and issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Ensures that assigned sales personnel focus very close attention to respective customers.
Liaises with brand manager/s to ensure that support services (ad. Materials etc.) are readily available.
Ensures that assigned sales personnel adhere and comply with company’s policy, rules, regulations, safety/security, human relations and other standard operating procedures. Takes appropriate follow up action where the company’s policy, rules procedures have been breached.
Conducts regular evaluations on job performance of team players and conducts formal periodic reviews. Recommends appropriate training programs for their development and enhancement.
Ensures that credit limits are effectively managed. Liaises with the Credit department to monitor customer credit performance and collect all outstanding monies owed to the company. Ensures all credits are appropriately approved on a daily basis.
Ensures that the company’s assets are properly and effectively utilized at all times.
Coaches, counsels and motivates staff, providing advice and guidance on work or personal related matters.
Ensures full compliance by all subordinates with company’s pricing and promotional policy.
Ensures workplace is always clean and in a hygienic state, free of clutter and debris.

The Remuneration package
The salary range is $ 600,00-700,000 Gross.
