REPORTS TO (TITLE):   Operations Manager

Primary objective of the job:

 

The Sales Manager B2B will be responsible for meeting all corporate customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. He/she will be responsible for the operations of the company’s corporate sales force developing and executing all key sales strategies, tactics and action plans required for achieving the financial targets through the implementation of the corporate sales plans and the performance management/leadership of the corporate sales team. This will include meeting with other company managers and other functional areas to ensure that business objectives are executed, optimized and on schedule.  He or she will own the revenue forecast, budget, sales targets, commission’s and provide sales plans for the team to aid in persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to partner with Digicel and achieve /exceed revenue objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Agree sales targets with sales team
  • Support new business opportunities with technical knowledge
  • Tracking sales performance across the team to ensure achievement of targets
  • Effective sales reporting for sales team and management
  • Win new customers
  • Achieve key financial targets
  • Maximize account growth opportunities in new and existing customers
  • Be responsible for designing and implementing accounts plans and strategies
  • Build long term relationships with key decision makers in your base
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of the Digicel’s products and services
  • Keeping informed of competitor activity and disseminating this to team members
  • Communicate and sell full range of products and services
  • Recruitment and development of sales staff
  • Understand the forces changing the market place and your team
  • Exceed your targets through intelligent territory management
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to corporate account executives on;
    • Sales process
    • KPI Monitoring
    • Sales techniques
    • Forecasting guide
  • Provide feedback to corporate account executives on sales activities
  • Performance manage corporate account executives
  • Supervising, monitoring and motivating sales team

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • Proven track record in achieving Sales targets, selling B2B.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a cross functional team to sell and deliver customer solutions
  • Ability to interact with key decision makers within an organization
  • High levels of resilience and tenacity
  • Flexible, innovative approach to work.
  • Solid understanding of mobile technology and developments
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to targets.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
