Sales Executive

Reporting to the Group Sales and Marketing Manager, the Sales Executive (SE) is the key point of contact between the company, principal, and the clients. The SE is responsible for managing and developing business relationships and markets, driving sales, as well as maintaining existing accounts.

Sales Executive

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to generate leads and drive sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting a regular sales report to management. Informing existing and potential customers of product features and benefits and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create and present persuasive sales proposals to encourage sales and repeat business.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of strategic sales & marketing plans
• Promoting and adding value to existing and prospective customers
• Providing weekly reports in keeping principals and management team abreast of market conditions, economic climate, best practices, and promotional trends
• To identify and develop future business opportunities with strategic accounts.
• Expedite the resolution of customer issues and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Analyse the market potential, track sales and status reports.

 Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ experience in sales and marketing
• Bachelors’ degree in Sales/Marketing
• knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent knowledge customer service
• Knowledge of Seaport documentation.
• Knowledge of Principals’ MIS.
• Knowledge of Advantum Agent and Freight System
• Knowledge of the shipping industry would be an asset.
