Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development representative will be responsible for identifying potential customers and creating new business opportunities to improve the sales performance.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry (lead generation)
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
• Ensure regular follow-ups and immediate response to potential client requests.
• Monitor and assess performance based on set targets and make the necessary adjustments to the approach where gaps are identified.
• Keep track of activities to include leads generated, initial contact and follow-ups
• Stay updated on trends in the market and in a bid to adjust approach
• Provides details on active prospects, detailing status on each potential lead
• Laison with internal support in completing requested proposals and quotations

Skills

• Ability to articulate the core functions/operations of the organization
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms for lead generation
• Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications/Requirements

• 3 – 5 years previous sales and customer service experience
• At a minimum, associate degree in Marketing or Business Administration
• Must own a reliable motor-vehicle
• Ability to travel island-wide
• Strong follow-up skills
• Ability to work alone or part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing to work in office
