Job Summary

Agri & Industrial Packaging Limited is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Sales Consultant.

One Sales Consultant is required to service three (3) parishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather Market intelligence from various stakeholders in the flexible plastic packaging industry.
• Sell our full line of flexible plastic packaging products in the region assigned.
• Seek out market intelligence for competitiveness.
• Prepare quotations, and  sales orders for customers.
• Track each order from initial stage to delivery and collection.
• Build customer relationships with the ability to identify customer needs; negotiate effectively, and close sales.
• Manage customer complaints to resolution.
• Follow up collections to ensure timely payments from Customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers (internal and external) on each transaction.

• Achieve monthly sales targets
• Increase market share within assigned parishes.
• Monitor all upcoming businesses (such as new hotels; restaurants; schools; spas, etc)
• Coordinate the delivery of customer orders based on agreed timelines.
• Resolve all outstanding collections.
• Prepare weekly sales plans and sales target reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal sales and marketing training from a tertiary institution.
• At least Seven (7) years experience in commission & collection based sales.
• Experience in the flexible plastic packaging industry would be an asset.
• Ownership of a reliable motor vehicle to facilitate in person sales visits.
