The Safety, Security and Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of workplace safety, security protocols and general office operations in respect to all locations island-wide.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Occupational Safety and Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of occupational safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment procedures.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures.
- Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) Act
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies, i.e, possessing the ability to analyse situations, identify potential risks, and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in security systems and surveillance technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey safety information to employees.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis situations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Candidate must possess a reliable vehicle and must be willing to travel islandwide.
- Ability to manage and train staff on safety and security procedures.
Experience:
At least three (3) years proven experience in security operations, safety management, and office administration.
Main Responsibilities
The Safety, Security, and Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of workplace safety, security protocols, and general office operations, ensuring a secure and efficient work environment by developing and implementing policies, conducting regular inspections, managing emergency response procedures, and coordinating with staff to maintain compliance with safety regulations and security standards. This is in respect to all our locations island-wide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Management:
- Establish and maintain building access control procedures, including visitor management and employee identification verification.
- Monitor security systems such as cameras, alarms, and door access controls.
- Manage emergency response procedures by developing and implementing emergency response plans for security incidents, including active shooter situations.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies to address security concerns.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees on personal safety, data protection, and potential threats.
- Investigate security incidences and take corrective actions
- Safety Management:
- Develop and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify hazards and potential risks.
- Conduct inspection of staff to ensure adherence to safety rules, i.e, wearing of safety equipment, etc.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training programs to employees on topics like fire safety, first aid, and hazard identification.
- Maintain safety records and reports, including incident logs and compliance documentation.
- Implement and maintain security protocols for the facility
- Conduct risk assessments and developing safety plans
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations
Facility Management:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including facilities maintenance, supplies inventory, and equipment upkeep.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Manage office budgets and expenditures related to safety and security.
- Supervision of office attendance/cleaners
- Monitor of general utilities, eg. Plumbing, air conditioning, etc.
- Identify areas for general upkeep and repairs
- Prepare and maintain cleaning schedule for the cleaning of high traffic areas and general cleaning of areas.
- Provide support for office events and meetings.
- Any other duties assigned
