Guardsman Security Limited invites applications for the role of Head of Transport. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to oversee and optimize all aspects of our transport operations and fleet management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement, maintenance, and operation of the company's vehicle fleet.
• Develop and enforce policies to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize Fleetwave software to monitor fleet performance and streamline operations.
• Drive sustainability by exploring alternative fuel vehicles for the fleet.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee transport budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting.
• Manage a high-performing team, fostering productivity and innovation.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

About You:

• Proven experience in managing transport operations and fleet maintenance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work in a similar role.
• Must have a valid Class C Driver’s License and a reliable motor vehicle
• Proven experience in managing transport operations and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle repairs & general garage management.
