Responsible for managing the business relationships between RUBiS Energy Jamaica Limited and its Retail Network of service stations through dealers and/or operators and supporting the growth of the company.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the business relationships between RUBiS Energy Jamaica Limited and its Retail Network of service stations through dealers and/or operators and supporting the growth of the company.

 

Key deliverables will include but not limited to:

 

  • Managing business relationships between RUBiS Energy Jamaica and its Retail Network Business Partners aimed at meeting specified business objectives.
  • Maintaining Brand identity and ensure Brand Integrity
  • Supervising the C-stores portfolio and ensuring all related policies and marketing plans implementation
  • Monitoring, assessing and recording business performance & opportunities to ensure growth and profitability of assigned locations.
  • Ensuring execution of all advertising and sales promotion programmes and support activities in your assigned zone
  • Conducting safety audits at assigned locations.
  • Providing reports on competitors’ activities within the zone to assist with the development of action plans and responses where necessary.
  • Review and implement relevant training programmes for Service Stations and/or Operators as required.
  • Assist in Dealer/Operator selection process.
  • Facilitate recruitment and selection of staff at sites as required.
  • Maintain Brand Identity and ensure Brand integrity
  • Manage dealer/operator relationships at respective sites by ensuring monthly operating analysis, facilitating marketing and promotional strategies and ensuring action as required
  • Develop new retail opportunities
  • Ensure proper accounting and management procedures maintained at all assigned locations.
  • Ensure proper pricing and volumes against agreed targets
  • Facilitate good business practices by monitoring and coaching management teams at assigned locations
  • Ensure the implementation of all marketing and promotional activities to increase business at all sites.
  • Support any network development plans.
  • Monitor, assess and record business performance of assigned locations
  • Provide support to all assigned business units.
  • Ensure proper financial and credit guarantees as required while monitoring and collecting overdue accounts.
  • Negotiate and make recommendations for any necessary business restructuring and/or upgrading of assigned units.
  • Provide periodic reports on competitor activities in sales area and ensure proper documentation is updated and maintained.
  • Provide periodic reports as required.
  • Conduct safety and audit reports as required.

  • Required to work in different locations island wide.
  • Driving for extended hours from time to time is required.  Lifting weights up to 30 lbs. Standing for long periods from time to time. Will be required to climb tanks, roofs and equipment in excess of 6 feet high.  Irregular hours are to be expected.
  • Can read and interpret documents such as basic financial reports, and procedures manuals.
  • Can write routine reports and correspondence

Qualifications & Experience

  • First-Degree in Business Administration or Management Studies
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a management position
  • Experience in Petroleum Industry would be an advantage
  • Experience in agency relationships and network development
