Purpose of the Role

Lead the efficient execution of the eChannels daily operations to achieve sales and profitability targets through effectively leading employees in executing all aspects of the department’s deliverables including loyalty programmes, diaspora development, stored value cards and all digital initiatives.

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead the development of e-Commerce business
• Participate in the establishment of annual, quarterly and monthly sales and profitability, budgeting and forecasting activities and drive the achievement of performance objectives.
• Ensure the efficient execution of day-to-day operational activities, to include inbound communication via all channels.
• Develop and implement customer loyalty initiatives
• Deliberately seek to improve performance through reviewing and analyzing business results, and leading initiatives developed to achieve objectives.
• Ensure that systems and practices are in place to deliver a memorable experience for the customers.
• Manage operational expenses and ensure compliance to established budgets.
• Ensure full employee engagement by leading the execution of all employee related activities.

Minimum Education & Experience

• BSc. in Management Studies, Marketing, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent,
• 4 years’ work experience with at least 2 at a supervisory level preferably in a retail environment, with direct involvement in inventory management.
• Proven experience in digital transformation and change management techniques.
