Job description:

 The successful candidate for this role may be based in St Lucia, Grenada, St. Vincent, Dominica, Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla, St Kitts & Nevis, BVI or  Montserrat.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigate ethics and compliance risks
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice to senior executives and stakeholders
  • Monitor and interpret legislation, guidance, and industry standards
  • Facilitate a culture of ethics and compliance
  • Conduct internal investigations and establish monitoring systems
  • Communicate compliance expectations and provide regular updates.

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum); postgraduate degree or law degree (preferred)
  • At least 10 years of experience in law, compliance, internal audit, or governance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multilingual, international environment
  • Proactive and highly organized approach with strong professionalism
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict management skills
