We are looking for a Recruiter and a Senior Human Resource Generalist with extensive experience and a proven record of effectively fulfilling their capacity.

POSITION I: RECRUITER

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring candidates. The incumbent will also be required to carry out other Human Resources functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
  • Source, attract, and assess top talent through various channels and interviews.
  • Manage the full recruiting cycle, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Stay updated on recruiting trends and create job advertisements in digital and print media.
  • Coordinate with external partners for pre-employment processes and spearhead onboarding sessions.
  • Maintain candidate pools, assist with the Application Tracking System, and support HR and other departments as needed.
  • Liaise with external partners via telephone and email to ensure successful and timely completion of pre-employment processes such as; reference checks and police records (fingerprinting)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficient with HR databases, ATS, CMS, and HRIS/HRMS systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with proper grammar.
  • Good time management, listening skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and guidelines efficiently.
  • NTCVET Level 3 or higher, with an Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred and at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.


POSITION II: SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

 

Job Summary:

This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, recruitment, employee relations among others.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations to include grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Utilize people analytics and reporting techniques to improve business processes.
  • Participate in the development or improvement of people/performance management processes.
  • Recommends and or implements employee recognition programmes
  • Assist with the full cycle recruitment and selection process.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements to the relevant platforms.
  • Plan and conduct new hire orientation to foster knowledge, compliance and positive attitude towards company goals.
  • Assist with preparing contracts and other employment documents.
  • Assist with the planning and development of training initiatives when needed.
  • Obtain feedback and prepare reports as needed.
  • Respond to queries involving policies, procedures and programmes.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, systems and policies.
  • Monitor and maintain employee records.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least three years of experience as an HR professional.
  • Proficient in principles and application of HR management, industrial relations, and Jamaican labour laws.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong supervisory and motivational abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and coordinating abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure, independently, and demonstrate tact, confidentiality, and professionalism.
