Collins Limited and its subsidiaries are recruiting for the role of Quality Department Head. We are seeking an individual with the leadership skills to drive our team towards maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in our manufacturing plant and distribution activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Department Head will be at the forefront of ensuring that our products, laboratory, distribution and pharmacy meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of SOPs to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
  • Leading internal and external audits, ensuring that all operations meet regulatory and company requirements.
  • Working closely with principals to ensure all products are distributed according to quality standards.
  • Managing pharmacovigilance activities
  • Overseeing quality assurance and control in our manufacturing plant, laboratory and pharmacy.
  • Overseeing the Registration function to ensure that all necessary documentation, permits, and licenses for pharmaceutical products are accurately prepared, submitted, and maintained.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Sciences, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits and managing compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Some local travel required; must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle.
