WISYNCO group Limited is seeks Quality Assurance Technician (II) with responsibility for supporting the Quality Assurance Department by supervising all other team members and monitoring the completion of all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct verification of all critical process parameters, namely but not limited to; Brix, carbonation, product coding and finished product verification
  • Preparing solutions and samples as required to ensure effective process verification
  • Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies (Quality, Food Safety, OSHE), and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards
  • Calibrating, maintaining and operating standard equipment.
  • Verifying compliance to CPk Requirements
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Document Control System through Intelex Software
  • Assist with special projects or assignments specifically directed by Quality Manager which may include new product launches, traceability and recall, consumer complaint investigation, 5S, etc.
  • Responsible for conducting process audits as requested by QA manager/Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of QA activities
  • Assist with Statistical Process Control
  • Provide recommendations for improvement of processes
  • Assist with management and maintenance of Sensory Program
  • Responsible for training new employees and annual team re-sensitization trainings
  • To manage with a view to meet ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18000 and FSSC 22000 standards, regulatory requirements, and any other third party management systems as required.
  • Ensure and Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
  • Ensure that the Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and the Environmental Management Systems are supported in accordance with the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 standards respectively
  • Ensure working environment are maintained according to GMP Housekeeping Standards.
  • Prepare the relevant reports, presentations, update manuals and documents as required
  • Any other duties as may be assigned within the scope of the job

Required Qualifications, Experiences, Knowledge and Skills:

  • B.Sc. Degree in a Sciences related field OR 3 years extensive laboratory work experience
  • Working knowledge in food production environment would be an asset
  • Prepare the relevant reports, presentations, update manuals and documents as required
  • Any other duties as may be assigned within the scope of the job
