The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and control of all construction projects, building/facility maintenance, environmental sustainability projects, and plant improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

Specific Knowledge (however acquired) Required to Start:
 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Project Management:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor project progress, identify and address potential risks and issues proactively.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined quality standards.
    • Prepare regular project status reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Construction Projects:
    • Manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and handover.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Oversee site activities, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Plant Improvements:
    • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed plant improvements.
    • Manage projects to upgrade and modernize plant facilities and equipment.
    • Optimize construction processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Building and Facility Maintenance:
    • Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy for all newly constructed buildings and facilities.
    • Develop and document guidelines and standards for maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs for new building expansions or newly constructed buildings/facilities.
    • Develop and document guidelines for compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards on an ongoing basis.
  • Environmental Sustainability Projects:
    • Identify and implement sustainable solutions to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
    • Manage projects related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, and pollution control.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and certifications.
