The Project Engineer has responsibility for maintaining project schedules by monitoring, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. He/She controls project plans by reviewing design, specifications, plans scheduling changes, and recommends actions. The incumbent is also responsible for tracking, controlling and reporting on project costs.

Core Functions

• Develops detailed project plans outlining scope, deliverables, risk assessments, and resource allocation to drive project success.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to technical specifications and compliance with procurement standards.
• Conducts stakeholder communication and management to align project goals with organizational objectives and client expectations.
• Performs quality assurance and compliance checks to ensure deliverables meet company and industry standards.
• Optimizes project workflows and processes by identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
• Drives risk management practices by proactively identifying and resolving potential issues impacting project success.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering or project management experience in industrial or energy sectors.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD), with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects.
