Over the lie of this two year contract, the incumbent is required to evaluate, develop, test, implement and maintain application software systems within the assigned project parameters

Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform application scoping and write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into product designs.
  • Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or systems functional specifications
  • Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Develop applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.
  • Develop and maintain software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, analyzing requirements, data usage, and work processes.
  • Follow the software development lifecycle.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Prepare and install solution sby determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Conduct systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Key Skills

  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing software solutions, using technologies such as .NET, C#, MVC, and SQL, at a high proficiency level.
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Nextjs, .Net Blazor or React and technologies like Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON to create interactive, secure and user-friendly applications.
  • Working Knowledge of mobile application development using Flutter.
  • Ability to perform API integration and regression testing, debugging, and ensure software meets coding standards, with an emphasis on delivering stable, scalable, and high-quality applications. Familiarity with API testing tools such as postman, Soap UI, Swagger (Swagger Inspector & SwaggerHub), Katalon etc.
  • High Proficiency in developing and maintaining relational databases, particularly with SQL Server and/or Oracle, and creating reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and modern tools like PowerBI.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in business applications analysis and development

 

Responsibilities

  •  Ensure adherence to the SDLC, including scoping, writing technical documentation, designing, developing, testing, and implementing software systems, ensuring quality and scalability. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies are a plus.
  • Ability to manage and maintain source code using the provided enterprise source control systems, ensuring version control and proper documentation.
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into product designs and technical specifications, using system-analyst techniques and documentation. Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Strong Communication skills with a willingness and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Work alongside internal stakeholders to ensure software meets SLAs, and align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
