ZS’s Digital Connected Health Team works with clients in pharma, med-tech and various other industries to help them discover, develop and deliver digital products to their users and customers. We engage throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle from shaping organization strategy (identifying opportunities and ways to succeed in the digital space), developing solutions across user journeys, standing up data-centric and evidence generation activities, and advancing digital-first portfolios through enabling specialized software and innovative tools.

Position Overview:

The Associate Consultant, Digital Products is a hands-on, functional leader within the Digital Product’s Team. In this role, you will work closely with clients and ZS Digital & Connected Health’s cross functional teams (User Experience, Technology, Regulatory, Legal) across the lifecycle of digital initiatives.

You will use your product management expertise to guide Product Strategy and Product Management activities with internal project teams and client stakeholders. You will lead the product vision of digital innovation projects, help execute that vision through outcome-driven roadmap prioritization, and support solution commercialization efforts in the U.S. and other international markets.

We are looking for candidates who are experienced and excited about Product Management and eager to dive into new and dynamic fields like Digital Health.

What You'll Do?

• Apply product management principles and best practices to ensuring we build the “right thing” on behalf of our clients
• Understand client strategic objectives and facilitate product discovery and innovation workshops
• Based upon deep understanding of client and/or product business goals, align and articulate a product’s vision, goals, success metrics/criteria, value proposition, key users, and user scenarios
• Create and maintain product/solution roadmaps with clear Initiatives, Milestones and Epics based on the "why" and "what." Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprised of product management, user experience, technology, testers, and other subject matter experts to gather and analyze information needs and functionality requirements, dependencies and impacts, and to facilitate user story development
• Deliver collaboration artifacts as needed by the team (this may include detailed requirements, data flow diagrams, business logic matrices, release notes, presentations, etc.)
• Regularly conduct market research and maintain solid awareness of the competitive landscape for the solution(s) you’re working on

What You'll Bring?

• Bachelor's Degree. Masters Degree highly desired or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in product management, product owner or similar functions
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment and solid understanding of project management principles and best practices, and Experience working in a client facing, consulting environment and cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams
• High energy level, with strong facilitation, verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to lead workshop style meetings to identify and chart a product’s vision and requirements

Additional Skills:

• Understanding of or willingness to learn about trends and governing dynamics in healthcare - regulation, innovation, stakeholders, economics, etc.
• Ability to travel internationally as needed
